As a full-time freelancer living in NYC, traveling frequently, working on Broadway and running a business, I understand more than most the tightrope-walk between strategy and freedom that comes without having a 9-5 job.

Journeying with clients from panic to renewed passion is nothing short of an adventure of a lifetime for me! And it doesn’t hurt that it gives me the unique opportunity to continue to see life through a totally different perspective. (aka yours!)

I am no Human Design expert. But I have fallen in love with it’s vocabulary.
I couldn’t be where I am without my love for understanding humans and this was one of the first universal connections I could actually get behind.
I know not everyone is game with “the universe” and some “woo-woo” so this is always optional. However, I will always encourage everyone to step outside the comfort zone. What’s the worst to happen? You hate it?

If I could require every freelancer out there to read, it would be this book.
This book helped me start my own journey through my health and creating new habits to help me.
Talking to Strangers

Communication is key in every kind of life. But especially in our lives. This book, yet again, grew my knowledge of humans.
It especially helped my socially awkward self, who overthinks everything to communicate with people the right way the first time.
I Will Teach You To Be Rich

Honestly, the first book that started to let finances and financial management “click” inside my head.
Ramit’s method works best with a steady income or someone who’s been able to build a solid safety net. But it’s still beyond useful for our community.
Profit First

So far, the only finance book I’ve found that is for the variable income.
I’ve helped set up a couple of clients using this system and we’ve seen great success.
My Own Life Experience

I’m there, living it with you. In real time.
Until 2025, I’ve never had a full-time job. Even this full-time job isn’t 9-5.
I’ve always had 2 jobs plus the odd gig here and there.
I thrive off of 15 minutes? Let’s get it done.
Notion + More

One of the first questions I’m asked is “what tool do you use?!”
Ya’ll… it’s not about the tool. And I am NOT the “picture perfect” system user. My systems are also all over the place by text book. But, they work for me. And that’s what matters.
But yes, my #1 is Notion, but that doesn’t mean it’s fit for you. I know and have tried many other tools for this reason. We’ll be using what is perfect for you.
